  • Publication number: 20220196154
Abstract: A valve member is mounted on a shaft to pivot within a fluid passage. A control selectively moves a piston in a linear direction to control a position of the valve member in the fluid passage. The piston causes a roller pin to move as the piston moves linearly. The roller pin is mounted in crank collars of a crank shaft such that movement of the roller pin causes the crank collars to rotate crank shaft rotating position, and the valve shaft. The roller pin is mounted within the crank collars by bearings. The bearings each have an outer race associated with a crank collar, an inner race associated with the roller pin, and bearing members separate the inner and outer race. There is a spring bias resisting movement of the inner races relative to said roller pin. An anti-ice system is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10017258
Abstract: A compressor mount bracket has a mount floor extending to be perpendicular to a square side extending away from the mount floor in a first direction. A closure side extends from the mount floor in the first direction. An outer surface faces away from the square side. An angled side extends at a non-parallel angle from the square side and back over the mount floor. A mount location extends from the angled side, and further over the mount floor. The closure side extends along the angled side and the mount location. The mount location has a first thickness, and the angled side has a second thickness. A ratio of the first thickness to the second thickness is between 1.38 and 1.63. A cabin air supply system and a method of servicing a cabin air supply system are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10017275
Abstract: A compressor cross bracket for use in an air supply system for an aircraft comprises a ledge extending away from a main body. The main body has ends at opposed sides and a ditch defined between the ends. Each of the ends have at least one bolt hole which has a diameter. A thickness of the ledge is defined in a direction from which the main body extends from the ledge, with a ratio of the thickness to the diameter being between 0.636 and 0.680. A cabin air supply system and a method of servicing a cabin air supply system are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9511869
Abstract: A mixer has an internal bore with an inlet to a chamber, and an outlet at an opposed end/A duct is connected to receive a recirculated air flow. The duct communicates air into the chamber through recirculating air ports such that the recirculating air can mix with the air from the inlet. The mixer housing has a cockpit outlet for delivering air to a second outlet, with the cockpit output being located axially upstream from the recirculating air ports. An isolator is mounted at an outer periphery of the mixer housing, and has flat sides on each of two circumferentially spaced sides. A belly band is bolted to an outer periphery of the mixer housing and to flat sides of the isolator.
