  • Publication number: 20240426346
Abstract: A system for axially preloading a component includes: a housing and a component disposed radially internal to the housing. The housing includes a threaded inner circumferential surface with a first thread pitch (P1). The system further includes an outer annulus radially inward of the housing that a threaded outer circumferential surface with a thread pitch substantially equal to the first thread pitch (P1) and a threaded inner circumferential surface with a second thread pitch (P2) and an inner annulus radially inward of the outer annulus, that includes a threaded outer circumferential surface with a thread pitch substantially equal to the second thread pitch (P2). The housing is provided with a first number (N1) of keyways disposed around its circumference. The outer annulus is provided with a second number (N2) of keyways disposed around its circumference. The inner annulus is provided with a third number (N3) of keyways around its circumference.

  • Publication number: 20220124881
Abstract: A temperature sensing device for a heating surface for food products includes a temperature probe configured to be coupled to the heating surface and to generate an electrical signal indicative of a temperature of the heating surface. The device includes a controller in electrical communication with the temperature probe. The device includes a wireless transmitter in electrical communication with the controller. The controller is configured to read the electrical signal from the temperature probe and to provide an output signal to the wireless transmitter. The wireless transmitter is configured to wirelessly transmit a temperature signal to a transceiver based on the output signal. The wireless transmitter is configured to wirelessly receive energy. The controller is configured to be powered by the received energy from the wireless transmitter.

  • Publication number: 20220072709
Abstract: In response to a first condition in a first subsystem of a robot, a controller halts operation of the first subsystem; transmits a set command specifying a first notification to an interface system; obtains status information from the interface system; and, in response to the status information indicating that the first notification has a cleared status, resumes operation of the first subsystem. The interface system maintains a set of active notifications and tracks a set of devices configured to receive notifications. Each of the devices is associated with a respective operator. In response to receiving the set command, the interface system: adds the first notification to the set of active notifications; determines a subset of devices to receive the first notification; wirelessly transmits the first notification to the subset; and, in response to receiving a clear message specifying the first notification, sets the first notification to the cleared status.

  • Publication number: 20190249715
Abstract: A ball bearing control assembly includes a cylindrical flexible sheath. A pair of stationary races defines a first raceway. A force transmission member defines a second raceway on opposing sides. Rolling members have a center point and are in rolling contact with the first and the second raceways as the force transmission member translates axially within the sheath. A ball guide interacts with the rolling members to constrain the majority of the rolling member. In one example, the ball guide interacts with the rolling members at two locations on each axial side of the rolling members. The two locations are positioned at different distances from the second raceway. The stationary races are located between the ball guide and the flexible sheath, and the ball guide is located between the stationary races and the force transmission member. Other examples can include two ball guides.
