  • Publication number: 20260117496
Abstract: A wear cap in a bucket lip in a bucket lip assembly for a machine includes a cap plate, and each of a first sidewall and a second sidewall downwardly dependent from the cap plate. A wear cap mounting space is defined laterally between a first sidewall and a second sidewall, and each of the first sidewall and the second sidewall includes a protrusion extending inwardly so as to define a rail channel for mounting the wear cap between the respective protrusion and the wear cap lower surface. The wear cap can be installed and retained solely by way of engagement with the rails on a bucket lip and interlocks with an adjacent coupler.

  • Publication number: 20260117497
Abstract: A shroud for a bucket lip assembly in a bucket of a machine includes a leading edge, a shroud lower surface, a shroud upper surface, and a shroud back surface forming an installation pocket. The shroud further includes a first sidewall, a second sidewall, a central wedge portion, a first material channel formed between the central wedge portion and the first sidewall and a second material channel formed between the central wedge portion and the second sidewall. The leading edge may form lead-in cutouts in communication with the respective material channels.

  • Publication number: 20260117494
Abstract: A tip coupler for a bucket in a bucket lip assembly for a machine, such as a hydraulic mining shovel, includes a coupler body including a mounting portion and a nose portion projecting from a forward body end of the mounting portion. The forward body end includes an end face and a plurality of tip-contact surfaces arranged about the nose portion. The back body end of the mounting portion includes a plurality of corners, and a plurality of load-reacting surfaces offset fore-aft from the plurality of corners and arranged about an open cavity end of a lip-installation cavity in the coupler body. Related apparatus is also disclosed. The tip coupler may be arranged in a bucket lip assembly of a bucket of the machine.

  • Publication number: 20260085484
Abstract: A bucket lip for a bucket in a machine includes an elongate one-piece casting including a forward lip edge and a plurality of mounting stations arranged along the forward lip edge. A lower lip side forms a segmented integral bean between the forward lip edge and a back lip edge, having a first outboard segment extending laterally inward from a first lateral edge, a second outboard segment extending laterally inward from a second lateral edge, and a plurality of inboard segments connecting between the first outboard segment and the second outboard segment. The bucket lip is configured for enhanced strength, optimized weight, and installation of a wear package.

  • Publication number: 20260085487
Abstract: A bucket lip includes an elongate one-piece casting and each of a first lip wing projecting upward at a location adjacent to a first lateral edge and a second lip wing projecting upward at a location adjacent to a second lateral edge of the casting. The first lip wing and the second lip wing each include a base section that is laterally asymmetric, and a bucket wing attachment section. Embodied in a bucket lip assembly, wing shroud bosses may be attached to outboard sides of the first lip wing and the second lip wing.
