  • Patent number: 10792141
Abstract: A soft tissue implant for correction of temporalis depressions or hollowing. The implant has a symmetric shape or external configuration, so that the device may be used as either a right or left temporalis implant. The implant may lie under or on top of the remaining temporalis muscle, or in the location formerly occupied by the temporalis muscle, to correct post-craniectomy temporal hollowing. The implant is manufactured from a medical grade, long term implantable silicone polymer material. The implant has a shell which forms the base of the device, with the base having an exterior surface and an interior surface with spaced projecting support structures. The implant is fully flexible or bendable.

  • Patent number: 10052186
Abstract: A prosthetic implant includes an anterior surface, configured for at least partial contact with an underside of a patient's facial soft tissue. A posterior surface is oppositely placed to the anterior surface. The posterior surface is configured for at least partial contact with a patient's facial bony tissue when the anterior surface is in at least partial contact with the patient's facial soft tissue. An implant body is defined by the anterior and posterior surfaces and extends transversely therebetween. A selected portion of the posterior surface has a texture that mechanically differs from a texture of a majority of the anterior surface.

  • Publication number: 20150068967
Abstract: A filter block for a filter is provided. The filter block uses a structure constructed from bound particles of an adsorption media that create one or more chambers for the receipt of unbound particles of the adsorption media. By using a structure formed of bound particles of the adsorption media having one or more chambers that contain unbound particles of the adsorption media, the surface area available for adsorption can be substantially increased relative to conventional configurations.
