  • Patent number: 9150139
Abstract: A system for refilling a reductant tank of a first machine is provided. The system includes a reductant reservoir, a first valve, and a pump. The first valve is fluidly connected to the reductant reservoir. The pump is fluidly connected to the first valve. Further, a nozzle is fluidly connected to the first valve. The first valve provides a reductant flow from the reductant reservoir to the pump, and from the pump to the nozzle when in a first position, and reverses the reductant flow from the nozzle to the pump, and from the pump to the reductant reservoir in a second position. Also, a pilot line is selectively associated with an outlet of the pump and the first valve. When pressure between the pump and the nozzle exceeds a threshold, pilot pressure causes the first valve to shift from the first position to the second position.

  • Patent number: 9038678
Abstract: A reductant fill system is provided. A reductant tank is configured to store a reductant. A receiver is configured to receive a supply of the reductant from an off-board reservoir. A first valve is in communication with the reductant tank and is configured to control a reductant flow into the reductant tank. A reductant supply line is in fluid communication with the receiver. The reductant supply line is configured to provide the reductant flow to the first valve. The reductant level sensor is configured to generate a signal based on a level of reductant in the reductant tank. A controller is communicably coupled to the reductant level sensor. The controller is configured to purge a stranded reductant in the reductant supply line, based on the signal generated by the reductant level sensor.

  • Publication number: 20130186349
Abstract: A system including a reductant tank, a receiver, a first valve, a reductant supply line, a plurality of sensors, and a controller is provided. The reductant tank is configured to store a reductant. The receiver is configured to receive a supply of the reductant from an off-board reservoir. The first valve is in communication with the reductant tank and is configured to control a reductant flow into the reductant tank. The reductant supply line is in fluid communication with the receiver and is configured to provide the reductant flow to the first valve. The plurality of sensors is configured to generate a signal. The controller is in communication with the plurality of sensors. The controller is configured to issue a command to a heating element to modulate a temperature of the reductant supply line based, at least in part, on the signal generated by the plurality of sensors.

  • Patent number: 7097728
Abstract: A frangible fiberglass insulation batt includes a frangible plane defined by a series of cuts in the batt.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 6960276
Abstract: A frangible fiberglass insulation batt includes a pair of fiberglass strips arranged to lie in side-by-side relation to one another and a frangible adhesive bridge spanning a gap between the fiberglass strips and retaining the fiberglass strips in side-by-side relation. To produce such a batt, a fiberglass insulation blanket is cut along its length to form two side-by-side fiberglass strips and then an adhesive material is applied to form a frangible adhesive bridge between the strips.

  • Patent number: 6923883
Abstract: A frangible fiberglass insulation batt includes a pair of fiberglass strips arranged to lie in side-by-side relation to one another and a frangible polymerized binder bridge spanning a gap between the fiberglass strips and retaining the fiberglass strips in side-by-side relation. To produce such a batt, a stream of uncured fiberglass insulation is cut along its length to form two side-by-side fiberglass strips and then passed through a curing oven to cause heat generated in the oven to polymerize (cure) binder associated with the strips in the gap to form the frangible polymerized binder bridge.
