  • Patent number: 11403718
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can generate individual feature data for each user of a plurality of users. A first cohort comprising a first plurality of users is generated, wherein the first plurality of users are selected from the plurality of users based on the individual feature data. A first set of cohort feature data associated with the first cohort is generated based on individual feature data for the first plurality of users. The first set of cohort feature data and a first set of cohort membership information are transmitted to a modeler. The first set of cohort membership information identifies each user of the plurality of users.

  • Patent number: 10282752
Abstract: In the Internet field, interfaces which support social interaction are used by two or more people to share information and content. An example is a geolocation (map-type) interface (a web page for instance) which is relied upon by users to obtain travel routes, plan trips and find geolocation information, such as stores, restaurants and other places. Described here is a system for advertising whereby targeted advertisements are displayed to users of such an interface and the advertisements are the result of an analysis of user behavior during a particular interface session or several sessions, so advertisements are closely targeted to each particular user.

  • Patent number: 10217283
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate generally to providing a user with an image navigation experience. For instance, a first image of a multidimensional space is provided with an overlay line indicating a direction in which the space extends into the first image such that a second image is connected to the first image along a direction of the overlay line. User input indicating a swipe across a portion of the display is received. When swipe occurred at least partially within an interaction zone defining an area around the overlay line at which the user can interact with the space, the swipe indicates a request to display an image different from the first image. The second image is selected and provided for display based on the swipe and a connection graph connecting the first image and the second image along the direction of the overlay line.

  • Patent number: 10013489
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for providing recommendations for an activity to a user are provided. In one method, the method tracks status information of a plurality of users, and detects a trigger for providing recommendations for an activity. In response the trigger, the method identifies a cluster of users based on the status information of the users. The method further retrieves profiles and behavioral characteristics of the users in the identified cluster, and provides one or more recommendations for the activity to the user based, at least in part, upon the behavioral characteristics and the profiles.

  • Patent number: 9898857
Abstract: In one aspect, computing device(s) may determine a plurality of fragments for a three-dimensional (3D) model of a geographical location. Each fragment of the plurality of fragments may correspond to a pixel of a blended image and each fragment has a fragment color from the 3D model. The one or more computing devices may determine geospatial location data for each fragment based at least in part on latitude information, longitude information, and altitude information associated with the 3D model. For each fragment of the plurality of fragments, the one or more computing devices may identify a pixel color and an image based at least in part on the geospatial location data, determine a blending ratio based on at least one of a position and an orientation of a virtual camera, and generate the blended image based on at least the blending ratio, the pixel color, and the fragment color.

  • Publication number: 20170109450
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for conducting a profile based search. The method and system includes receiving a search request including one or more search terms from a user, parsing the search request into categorical verticals, determining search refinement data relative to the categorical verticals, the search refinement data including at least one of: profile information, environmental data relative to the search request and historical behavior data relating to the search request or the user and accessing a database of aggregated search data based on the search refinement data. The method and system includes using the aggregated search data, determining a most relevant search query and a most relevant user profile, refining the search request based on the most relevant search query and most relevant user profile and generating an output display of a search result set based on the refined search request.

  • Patent number: 9539488
Abstract: A design for snowsports devices such as skis and snowboards uses non-Newtonian materials. Non-Newtonian materials exhibit rate-sensitive characteristics, with stress vs. strain properties dependent on the rate of loading. The snowsports device with non-Newtonian materials has variable stiffness and damping, with both increasing according to an increased applied load-rate such that a single snowsports device exhibits soft flex characteristics under low applied load-rates, but stiffer flex characteristics under high applied load-rates. The flex of the snowsports device is self-adjusting, with no manual adjustment input required by a user. The non-Newtonian material may be incorporated into the structure of the snowsports device in a number of different ways, including in the core, in composite sheet layers, and other locations.
