  • Publication number: 20170186119
Abstract: A computer implemented method for facilitating negotiations for services and business transactions that includes engaging an initiating party in communication with an initiated party regarding a service offering, where the parties are engaged for an engagement period. During the engagement period the engaged buyer arrangement is restricted from communicating with other seller arrangements concerning the same or substantially similar subject matter as the currently engaged negotiation. The sameness or substantial similarity of two solicitations from the same buyer arrangement during the engagement period is accomplished by comparing both the attributes of the seller arrangement's service offering and the text and context of the solicitations. Restricting the parties thereby facilitates the parties concluding a negotiation for services.

  • Publication number: 20160144316
Abstract: A contaminated gas stream can be passed through an in-line mixing device, positioned in a duct containing the contaminated gas stream, to form a turbulent contaminated gas stream. One or more of the following is true: (a) a width of the in-line mixing device is no more than about 75% of a width of the duct at the position of the in-line mixing device; (b) a height of the in-line mixing device is no more than about 75% of a height of the duct at the position of the in-line mixing device; and (c) a cross-sectional area of the mixing device normal to a direction of gas flow is no more than about 75% of a cross-sectional area of the duct at the position of the in-line mixing device. An additive can be introduced into the contaminated gas stream to cause the removal of the contaminant by a particulate control device.

  • Publication number: 20080229552
Abstract: The present invention comprises one functional addition to kite's sail material and structural spars. This invention uses a zipper rather than kite sail material pockets to attach the structural spars to the sail material. This invention is specific to the functional kite spars and the sail material that attaches to them. One side of the zipper is attached permanently or non-permanently to kite spars. The other side of the zipper is permanently attached to the kite material. This allows easy disassembly of the kite material from its structural spars. This also functionally attaches the desired portion of kite material to its structural spar without the use of pockets or material stretching.

  • Publication number: 20070124477
Abstract: A load balancing system for routing a request sent by a first computer, wherein the request is operable to initiate a communication protocol with a second computer, wherein the second computer is operable to process the request, and wherein the first computer comprises an inserter being operable to insert data associated with the second computer in the request. The system comprises a receiver for receiving the initiation request, and a comparator responsive to receipt of the initiation request, for comparing the data in the request with data in a storage component in order to determine a routing decision.

  • Publication number: 20070118886
Abstract: For updating first security data, for use with a first server and a second server, wherein the first server and the second server have access to the first security data; and wherein a user is enabled to communicate with the first server and the second server. A generator generates a first token comprising second security data. The first token is secured by applying the first security data. A communication component transmits, via the first server, the first token to the user and permits the user to communicate the first token to the second server. The second server obtains the second security data by applying the first security data to the first token.
