    Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining a plurality of parameters indicative of performance of an analog telephone line is disclosed. The method includes sequentially performing a plurality of tests on the analog telephone line. The method further includes sequentially indicating results of the plurality of tests using a same set of visual indicators. In one embodiment, the performing the plurality of tests includes performing a second and a third sequential test upon detection of sequential activation of a test initiation input device. In another embodiment, the determining a plurality of parameters includes determining any one of loop current, ring voltage and ring trip energy of the analog telephone line.
