Patent number: 11445033Abstract: A private network system operates over a public network to provide an asymmetric service to members with information from other members and non-members. The system includes central servers and databases connected via the public network to client systems of public network users. The users may be members who communicate with a private protocol or non-members who communicate with the public protocol. A process for the private service includes communication of information between users via the private service servers. The private service server implements the private service, which includes a viral engine for network deployment. Features of the viral engine include genetic algorithms, data mining, personalization, frictionless service setup, user maximization, and member-controlled privacy. A sample setup process and contact update wizard that include several viral engine features are described.Type: GrantFiled: October 16, 2020Date of Patent: September 13, 2022Assignee: Plaxo, Inc.Inventors: John T. Masonis, Sean Parker, Cameron T. Ring, Richard J. Carey

Patent number: 11238984Abstract: The present invention relates to systems and methods for ensuring quality of care services. After care is provided a confirmation is received. This may include a message regarding the care delivery from the provider. The confirmation and message may be conveyed to friends and family of the recipient. Location data from the provider, and feeds from the recipient's location are collected. Any lapses of care and emergencies based upon the location data and feeds are likewise identified. Identifying lapses of care and emergencies includes cross referencing length of time the provider spent at the recipient's location against tasks that were supposed to be performed at the location to determine if there is a discrepancy. Likewise, the time and location of the provider can be cross referenced against the confirmation to determine if there is a discrepancy. In some embodiments the feeds are also analyzed for trigger events.Type: GrantFiled: April 22, 2016Date of Patent: February 1, 2022Assignee: Honor Technology, Inc.Inventors: Seth J. Sternberg, Sandy J. Ring, Cameron T. Ring, Monica Lo

Patent number: 11195614Abstract: The present invention relates to systems and methods for providing value added services. a request for a service for a recipient is received. A value added service may then be matched to the recipient. These value added services are vetted beforehand. The matching takes into account the recipients limitations, including physical and mental limitations, and location, and the value added service rating. The recipient's limitations; and the matching include optimizing the value added service to the profile of the recipient. The profile includes likes and dislikes of the recipient. Lastly, approval of the value added service is received from the recipient and/or the friends of family of the recipient.Type: GrantFiled: April 22, 2016Date of Patent: December 7, 2021Assignee: Honor Technology, Inc.Inventors: Seth J. Patent number: 10831866Abstract: The present invention relates to systems and methods for facilitating remote care services. First a provider of the services is matched to a recipient of the services by optimizing the profiles of the provider and recipient using historical feedback. Next the schedule for the provider is optimized in order to most effectively deliver care to the recipients. The system may also be adapted to provide efficient routing of the provider to and from recipient appointments. Upon care delivery, the system may also collect confirmation that all tasks of the service have been completed. The provider and recipient can also, respectively, provide feedback to the system of the encounter. The provider may be able to send messages regarding the appointment directly to friends and family of the recipient.Type: GrantFiled: April 22, 2016Date of Patent: November 10, 2020Assignee: Honor Technology, Inc.Inventors: Seth J. Publication number: 20160314266Abstract: The present invention relates to systems and methods for matching providers and recipients. First, historical information on the service providers and recipients is collected. Feedback from both the service provider and service recipients on the quality of service is compiled. Optimal match profiles are then generated, and these earlier profile matches are used to asses any new providers and/or recipients to ensure a good fit. The services may include feeding, companionship, grooming, and personal assistance. Once the matches have been made, they may be displayed to the providers, and application information from interested providers may be provided to the recipient and friends/family of the recipient. The recipient, or authorized agent, may then select one of the providers.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 22, 2016Publication date: October 27, 2016Inventors: Seth J. Sternberg, Sandy J. Patent number: 8271535Abstract: Ways for synchronizing folders between one or more layers of folders are described. It includes selecting layers to link together, comparing folders in the selected layers using an immutable identifier, parsing the folders of each of the selected layers into fields, comparing the fields of parsed folders of the selected layers, and determining whether to synchronize the folders of the selected layers based on conflict rules triggered in response to the comparison of the fields of the parsed folders. Also disclosed are ways of merging two or more folders in a network into a single folder. It includes comparing entries between folders to identify duplicate entries, grouping the identified duplicate entries in each folder, generating a matrix from the duplicates grouping and assigning each matrix entry a value, and matching the matrix entries based on the assigned values to determine an extent to merge an identified duplicate entry.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2011Date of Patent: September 18, 2012Assignee: Plaxo, Inc.Inventors: Cameron T.
