    Abstract: An apparatus and a method are provided. A request for a file is received. A determination is made regarding whether the file is a copyrighted file. A cost of the file is determined. Whether a requesting user has a sufficient balance in at least one affinity group account to cover the cost of the file is determined. The at least one affinity group account is debited by an amount of the cost when the requesting user has the sufficient balance in the at least one affinity group account. The requested file is shared with a processing device associated with the requesting user.
