  • Publication number: 20260147724
Abstract: Embodiments relate to an integrated circuit of an electronic device that coordinates activities with another integrated circuit of the electronic device. The integrated circuit includes an interface circuit and a processor circuit. The interface circuit communicates over a multi-drop bus connected to multiple electronic components. The processor circuit receives an authorization request from the integrated circuit via the interface circuit and the multi-drop bus. The received authorization request relates to authorization to perform an activity on the other integrated circuit. In response to receiving the authorization request, the processor circuit determines whether the other integrated circuit is authorized to execute the activity.

  • Publication number: 20250380289
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for a dynamic coexistence policy for operating a plurality of radios using a plurality of antennas of a user device. The user device can configure a plurality of radios of the user device to operate in a first diversity mode state of a plurality of diversity mode states. The plurality of radios can be operable to communicate using one or more of a plurality of antennas of the user device. While in the first diversity mode state, the user device can determine whether a first radio signal strength of a first radio of the plurality of radios is below a first radio signal strength threshold and configure the plurality of radios to operate in a second diversity mode state of the plurality of diversity mode states.

  • Patent number: 12356315
Abstract: Systems and methods for low power wireless device detection are provided. In one or more implementations, a transmitting/advertising device may include a device identifier and/or one or more time-offset bits in a wireless communication frame for a scanning/receiving device. The scanning/receiving device may perform sequence-level correlation operations to detect the presence of the transmitting/advertising device. The sequence-level correlation operations may detect the transmitting/advertising device based on a detection of a correlation signal peak corresponding to the device identifier, and/or based relative timing of the correlation signal peak corresponding to the device identifier and a correlation signal peak corresponding to another item in the wireless communication frame.

  • Publication number: 20250081238
Abstract: A method is provided. The method includes attaching a user device to a wireless network via a router of a first communications protocol. The method includes determining, based on information about a second session using a second communications protocol, a first time window and a second time window. The method includes determining to perform a first session using the first communications protocol in the first time window. The method includes performing a first arbitration between the first session and the second session. The method includes determining, based on the first arbitration, that the first session has a priority over the second session in the second time window. The method includes performing a second arbitration between the first session and a third session using a third communications protocol. The method includes determining, based on the second arbitration, whether to perform the first session in the second time window.

  • Patent number: 11849472
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are presented to facilitate coexistence between multiple wireless communication protocols implemented by a wireless communication device, by dynamically adjusting priority between the two protocols. The wireless communication device may typically favor a first protocol (e.g. Bluetooth/BTLE), prioritizing resource requests by the first protocol. In certain use cases, the first protocol may demand high resource usage for an extended time, particularly for newer tracking and wearable devices, such as location tags, watches, headsets, etc. Such applications can disrupt existing use cases for a second protocol (e.g., Wi-Fi). Therefore, the wireless communication device may dynamically determine whether the second protocol is performing critical operations, such as latency-sensitive applications or high-performance operations. If so, the wireless communication device may allocate resources accordingly in real time, e.g.
