Abstract: A seismic survey system includes a set of streamers coupled via lead-in cables to a towing vessel. An active adjustment system adjusts a distance separating at least two of the streamers of the set of streamers from each other. The active adjustment system can include a rope attached to a winch or can include a set of wings.

Abstract: A cleaning device for cleaning a marine element towed in water and related methods are provided. The cleaning device includes a body configured to enclose a marine element; at least one wing fixedly attached to the body and configured to impart translational motion to the body when flowing in water; and a keel attached to the body and configured to limit a rotation of the body. The at least one wing is oriented relative to the body so that the cleaning device travels from a head portion toward a tail portion of the marine element when the marine element is towed at an angle less than a triggering angle with a traveling direction of a vessel towing the marine element.

Abstract: A medication dispensing system and method where the patient can have his personal console capable of receiving an insert having a tray with an array of medication compartments corresponding to respective times and dates at which the medication is prescribed to be taken. A database in the console can be set with the specified times and dates at which the medication is to be taken. When the console determines the time to dispense medication in one of the compartments has been reached, a visual and/or audible indicator can be triggered. Membranes which are to be hand-removed by the patient cover the respective compartments. A detector provided under the insert can detect across the tray whether or not the membrane corresponding to the selected medication compartment has been removed.
