Abstract: Display unit for an exercise machine, comprising: a controller, a first display, a second display; a control panel comprising: a screen provided with a groove for guiding the navigation of a user within a navigable menu and a plurality of graphic keys each associated to a user-selectable function or command; a capacitive keypad including a first electrode associated to the groove and a plurality of additional electrodes each operatively associated to a key and connected to the controller by means of conductive tracks. When a user touches the groove or one key, the control unit causes visualization on the first display of the menu, or implementation of a function associated with the display unit, or transmission to the machine of a command associated to the touched key. The control unit causes visualization of a selected training session on the first display, and of operating parameters of the machine or parameters results at the end of a training session on the second display.

Abstract: An exercise machine equipped with a device designed to be driven to move by the user during a workout, by applying a muscular force against a resistant load and which includes: a detector for detecting the muscular power applied by the user to the device; a display; a computer connected to the display and having access to a memory containing a plurality of values, representative of the power nominally absorbed by a plurality of corresponding electric household appliances, and digital data for graphically representing the plurality of electric household appliances, the computer being programmed for: comparing the power detected by the detector and at least one of the power values contained in the memory; and for generating on the display, depending on the comparison, a graphical output of the comparison, including a graphical representation of at least one of the electric household appliances, generated based on the digital data.

Abstract: An exercise machine of the treadmill type comprises a motor (5) connected to a belt (3) and able to be activated for driving the belt, an actuator (6) associated with the belt (3) for angling it, an interface (7) designed to allow the user (100) to set a basic pair of values relating to predetermined operating parameters and corresponding to a machine operating configuration. The machine also comprises a processor (8) programmed to derive a user (100) oxygen consumption value depending on the basic pair of values and for calculating, the oxygen consumption value being equal, at least one alternative pair of values which involves lower energy consumption by the motor (5) compared with the basic pair.
