    Abstract: An apparatus for coupling a laser and an optical fiber and an optical signal transmission system and transmission method where the coupling apparatus is disposed between a laser and an optical fiber, where the coupling apparatus includes an optical signal transmission part whose inner refractive index changes gradually, where a refractive index becomes higher at a position closer to a principal axis of the optical signal transmission part; and the optical signal transmission part may be configured to shape an optical signal incident from the laser (including optical signal convergence or divergence), so that a mode field radius of the adjusted optical signal matches a core radius of the optical fiber, and the adjusted optical signal can be coupled into the optical fiber in high efficiency.

    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for coupling an optical waveguide to a single-mode fiber are disclosed. The apparatus includes a substrate, a first optical waveguide, a single-mode fiber and a second optical waveguide. The first optical waveguide, the single-mode fiber and the second optical waveguide dispose on the substrate. One end of the single-mode fiber has an optical fiber taper structure. One end of the second optical waveguide is optically coupled to the first optical waveguide. Another end of the second optical waveguide is optically coupled to the single-mode fiber using the optical fiber taper structure of the single-mode fiber.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an OLED array substrate, a manufacturing method thereof, an OLED display panel and an OLED display device. The OLED array substrate comprises a substrate and a plurality of pixel units provided thereon, each pixel unit comprising a TFT, and a first electrode, an organic light-emitting layer, a second electrode and an optical coupling layer sequentially arranged on the TFT, wherein the optical coupling layer comprises a bottom contacting with the second electrode and an arched top protruding towards a light-exiting direction. By forming the optical coupling layer of each pixel unit on the OLED array substrate to be the arched top optical coupling layer, the OLED array substrate, the manufacturing method thereof, the OLED display panel and the OLED display device of the present invention attenuates total reflection of light inside the optical coupling layer, thereby improving light extraction efficiency.

The OLED panel comprises: a base substrate, a plurality of OLED units formed on the base substrate, and a reflective structure formed on the base substrate, disposed along the periphery of the OLED units and configured to partially or completely encircle the OLED units. The OLED unit includes an anode layer, an organic emission layer and a cathode layer. The reflective structure is provided with a reflective surface which is configured to reflect light emitted from a side terminal of the organic emission layer to the outside of the OLED panel. The OLED panel can improve the utilization rate of light emitted by the OLED units and hence improve the display quality of the OLED panel.

Light that would be totally reflected from a surface of the first optical coupling layer are transmitted out through the protrusion structures with the arc-shaped surfaces of the second optical coupling layer, therefore the total reflection of the light is reduced, the light extraction efficiency is increased, and the external quantum efficiency of the device is improved.
