Abstract: The present invention provides a dock lifting device which facilitates movement of cargo from areas of different height. For example, the lifting device may be used in combination with a forklift to move items from a relatively high loading dock to a relatively low loading platform such as a pickup truck, station wagon or the ground. The lifting device preferably includes a first end adapted to receive the forks of a forklift, and a second end including a cargo platform that is positioned below the height of the first end.
