    Abstract: The invention provides a method and formulation for the treatment or maintenance of conditions that would be benefited from increasing or maintaining Arginine levels in the blood, and having improved taste characteristics over current Arginine supplementations. Further, this maintenance of Arginine levels in the blood will be beneficial in acute and chronic diseases with an impaired arginine to citrulline production rate. Further the invention provides a method for treating at least one of satiety and dyspepsia in an individual. In one embodiment, the method includes administering to an individual an effective amount of L-citrulline.
