Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices for activating and deactivating pre-configured measurement gaps in carrier aggregation. A user equipment (UE) device may detect a pre-configured measurement gap configured by a network; detect that the pre-configured measurement gap has been activated or deactivated; and activate or deactivate the measurement gap based on the detection that the pre-configured measurement gap has been activated or deactivated.

Abstract: Various embodiments herein provide techniques related to a user equipment (UE). In embodiments, the UE may identify occurrence of a triggering event related to a configured preconfigured measurement gap (pre-MG). Further, the UE may check, based on occurrence of the triggering event, a status of the configured pre-MG. Further, the UE may change, based on the occurrence of the triggering event, the status of the configured pre-MG. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

Abstract: An improved bird cage structure includes a pair of symmetric right and left grid frames, a pair of symmetric front and rear grid frames, a top grid frame and a bottom grid frame. The right and left grid frames have respectively latch elements extended outward to engage with the top grid frame and fastening elements disposed at selected locations for fastening the engaging elements located at the front and rear grid frames to form a sturdy bird cage. The grid frames have respectively a slot opening to hold a slant chute for forming a collection trough. The cage may be detached easily to single pieces and packed to a small size, and can be transported conveniently at a lower cost.

Abstract: A knock-down bird cage, which includes a cage body and a stand supporting the cage body, wherein the cage body is formed of a right side panel, a left side panel, a front panel, a rear panel, a right top panel, a left top panel, a horizontal bottom panel, and a collector plate spaced below the horizontal bottom panel and defining with a respective bumper board at each of the right side panel, left side panel, front panel and rear panel a receptacle for collecting waste matter; the stand include a plurality of legs, the legs each a top mounting frame, and a plurality of clamping plates respectively fastened to the top mounting frame at each of the legs to secure the legs to the receptacle of the cage body at a bottom side.
