Publication number: 20240141929Abstract: This invention discloses a pneumatic and cable-driven hybrid artificial muscle, comprising pneumatic actuator, pneumatic pressure regulating assembly, and cable drive assembly. The pneumatic pressure regulating assembly is connected to the pneumatic actuator to regulate air pressure in the pneumatic actuator for controlling the pneumatic actuator to extend or contract. The cable actuation assembly comprises a cable fixedly connected to the pneumatic actuator for controlling the pneumatic actuator to contract. In this invention, the artificial muscle employs a dual pneumatic and cable actuation mechanism. By leveraging the inherent stiffness of the pneumatic actuator, it can provide substantial actuation force for joint movement. Simultaneously, the cable actuation assembly can provide significant pulling force, effectively ensuring safety in human-machine interaction and offering sufficient bidirectional aiding force to individuals with disabilities who use the artificial muscle as an aiding actuation device.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 4, 2023Publication date: May 2, 2024Inventors: Yong HU, Xiao Dong LI, De Hao DUAN MU, Xiao Jun WANG, Xiang CAO

Patent number: 11966156Abstract: A system for mask design repair may develop a simulation-based model of a layer thickness after one or more process steps for fabricating features on a sample, develop a transformed model of the fabrication process that emulates the simulation-based model and has a faster evaluation speed than the simulation-based model, and where the inputs to the transformed model include the input mask design, and where the outputs of the transformed model include one or more output parameters associated with fabrication of the input mask design as well as one or more sensitivity metrics describing sensitivities of the one or more output parameters to variations of the input mask design. The system may further receive a candidate mask design and generate a repaired mask design based on the transformed model and the candidate mask design.Type: GrantFiled: August 8, 2023Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: KLA CorporationInventors: Pradeep Vukkadala, Guy Parsey, Kunlun Bai, Xiaohan Li, Anatoly Burov, Cao Zhang, John S. Publication number: 20240096344Abstract: An embodiment includes identifying, during a video conference attended by a first attendee, other attendees of the video conference. The embodiment renders a virtual meeting environment including virtual representations of the other attendees, where the rendering includes accessing relationship characteristic data indicative of relationships between the first attendee and other attendees. The embodiment calculates positions for virtual representations of the other attendees in the first attendee's virtual field of view based on the relationship characteristic data. The embodiment also detects simultaneous speech from two of the other attendees and, in response, directs the individual speech from each of the other attendees to respective audio channels.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 16, 2022Publication date: March 21, 2024Applicant: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Wei Jun Zheng, Shi Kun Li, Shuai Cao, Fan Xiao Xin, Ying Li

Publication number: 20240073497Abstract: A photographing device able to not requiring installation and space in a non-display area of an electronic device includes a base, a prism mechanism, and a photosensitive mechanism. The base includes a receiving groove, and inclined first and second stop surfaces. The prism mechanism is rotatably coupled to the base, accommodated in the receiving groove, and includes incident and light-emitting surfaces at right angles. The first and second stop surfaces are in the rotation path of the light emitting surface. The photosensitive mechanism includes a photosensitive surface parallel to the first stop surface. When the light emitting surface resists against the first stop surface, the light emitting surface faces the photosensitive surface, and at least part of the incident surface is located outside the receiving groove. When the light emitting surface resists against the second stop surface, the incident surface is accommodated in the receiving groove.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 30, 2022Publication date: February 29, 2024Inventors: CONG CAO, JING-WEI LI, SHUAI-PENG LI, ZHUANG-ZHUANG JING

Publication number: 20090135455Abstract: An image processing method of removing flaw and a device using the same are provided. The image processing method is used in an image processing device and includes the following steps. Firstly, a transparent manuscript is transparently scanned to obtain a first scanning image. Next, the transparent manuscript is reflectively scanned to obtain a second scanning image. Then, a flaw-positioning image is obtained via the second scanning image. Afterwards, the first scanning image is modified by using the flaw-positioning image according to an image-recovered method for correcting the image value of the pixel in the first scanning image corresponding to at least part of the flaw in the transparent manuscript.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 10, 2008Publication date: May 28, 2009Applicant: Qisda CorporationInventor: Li-Cao Li
