    Abstract: A pulley assembly for a starter device for starting an internal combustion engine of a hand-guided power tool has a pulley with an axis of rotation extending in axial direction. A circumferential side of the pulley is positioned outwardly in radial direction relative to the axis of rotation. A circumferential recess is arranged at the circumferential side and accommodates a starter rope. The pulley is provided with a spring receptacle. A connecting spring is disposed in the spring receptacle and has a first end fixedly connected to the pulley. The spring receptacle and the recess overlap each other, viewed in the axial direction and viewed in the radial direction. A starter device is provided with the pulley assembly and a second end of the connecting spring is fixedly connected to a coupling device of the starter device that couples the pulley to the crankshaft of the combustion engine.

To ensure that the start position can only be engaged when the braking arrangement is actuated, the work apparatus has a blocking device which prevents engagement of the start position in a blocking position. The braking arrangement is coupled to the blocking device such that the blocking device is in the blocking position with the braking arrangement in the unactuated position.

    Abstract: A start safety circuit arrangement is incorporated into a work apparatus having an internal combustion engine. Combustion air and fuel are supplied to the combustion chamber by a control unit for the engine operation. The fuel/air mixture in the combustion chamber is ignited by an ignition plug. An operating mode selector has a start position for enriching the fuel/air mixture. A safety brake device in an operating mode brakes the work tool. A start position sensor is arranged on the operating mode selector and a brake position sensor is associated with the safety brake device. The status signal of the brake position sensor and the status signal of the start position sensor are combined to cause the control unit to disable the engine operation if the operating mode selector is in start position (III) and the safety brake device is in its standby mode (B).
