  • Publication number: 20180241135
Abstract: The disclosed 20 dBi KSF300. A high gain 5th generation mobile network or wireless system (5G) technology fan beam antenna array offers a wide 3 dB beamwidth for wide angular coverage in azimuth with most of the energy focused within 44° of the main beam. Since propagation losses at Ka band are 20× more than at 6 GHz, the beamwidth of the antenna is reduced when the antenna gain increases. To alleviate this problem, the fan-beam type antenna can be useful to provide simultaneously high gain and wide azimuth coverage.

  • Patent number: 9453314
Abstract: A novel design and construction method for the creation of a deployable flexible flood mitigation wall manufactured from textile and membrane materials. The flexible flood mitigation wall system comprises a textile/membrane wall and support posts configured to be movable between a stowed position and a deployed position and wherein, in the deployed position, the wall forms a leak-free barrier against flood water or other fluids. A series of posts that are manually deployed is used to support the fabric wall when hydrostatically challenged, and transfer loads to the ground. The wall is stored at the point of use in a surface box or trench box and keeps the loading from the flood water off the building, structure or equipment being protected.

  • Patent number: 9179531
Abstract: A super capacitor (SC) and methods are disclosed, forming massive embedded capacitors connected in parallel over very wide radii varying from a few square feet to hundreds of square miles. The SC is enclosed within a water proof housing to keep out water by depositing a plurality of alternating layers of dielectric material between each conducting layer, whereby one or more electrodes are situated on each dielectric layer, and having at least one probe electrode exuding from said housing, and connected to the one or more electrodes, for receiving electric charge from a lightning source, for example. The dielectric layers separating each conducting layer may vary from a few layers to thousands, and possibly even millions or more layers, for example, to define a multilayer capacitive structure capable of providing electric power to supplement or replace other sources of electric power that harm the environment.
