The WPT systems are configured such that the mutual inductance between the first and second primary windings is zero or substantially zero and the mutual inductance between each of the first and second primary windings and the load winding is not zero. The systems described are particularly effective in wireless power transfer applications where electromagnetic field exposure as well as the system efficiency may be an issue.
