    Abstract: This invention relates to the joining of two metal sheets such as in the repair of automobile body components. There is provided a tool which may be utilized to first form a dimple in one or more sheets, and then form a bore through the one or more sheets in alignment with the dimple so that the head of the fastener utilized to join the sheets may be recessed within the dimple and covered by a suitable filler material to provide a flush surface. The tool and the method of utilizing the same are particularly adaptable for securing together sheets utilizing conventional pop rivets.
