Abstract: A personal watercraft includes a hull, a deck disposed on the hull and a seat assembly supported on the deck. The deck is disposed on the hull. The seat assembly includes a seat portion, a backrest and a blocking system. The seat portion is selectively connected to the deck. The backrest is selectively connected to the seat portion. The blocking system is operatively connected to the seat portion, and has a first configuration permitting connection of the seat portion to the deck in response to the backrest being disconnected from the seat portion, and a second configuration preventing connection of the seat portion to the deck in response to the backrest being connected to the seat portion.

Abstract: A personal watercraft has a hull, a deck, a motor, a motor control unit operatively connected to the motor for controlling at least one parameter associated with the motor, a seat assembly including a seat portion selectively connected to the deck, and a raised seating system including a seat support selectively connected to the deck for selectively supporting the seat portion above the deck. A sensor is connected to at least one of the hull and the deck and is communicating with the motor control unit. In response to the seat support being connected to the deck, the sensor detects a presence of the seat support, and in response to the sensor detecting the presence of the seat support, the motor control unit limits at least one of the at least one parameter associated with the motor. A method for adjusting performance of a personal watercraft is also provided.

The straddle seat has a base structure that has an upper surface to which a resiliently deformable top portion is connected. The resiliently deformable top portion covers at least partially the upper surface. The backrest is selectively connected to the resiliently deformable top portion at either one of at least two positions along a length of the straddle seat such that deformation of the top portions permits movement of the backrest. A personal watercraft having the straddle seat assembly is also disclosed.

Abstract: A storage assembly for a vehicle has an outer compartment defined by an outer peripheral wall, an outer compartment lid operatively connected to the outer peripheral wall and moveable between an open position providing access to an interior of the outer compartment and a closed position blocking access to the interior of the outer compartment; and an inner compartment integrally formed within the outer compartment, the inner compartment being defined by an inner peripheral wall. The inner compartment comprises an inner compartment lid operatively connected to the inner peripheral wall and being moveable between an open position providing access to an interior of the inner compartment and a closed position blocking access to the interior of the inner compartment, and a sealing assembly for sealing the interior of the inner compartment when the inner compartment lid is in the closed position. A vehicle including the storage assembly is also disclosed.
