  • Publication number: 20230258650
Abstract: Methods and devices for identifying agents that block binding or activation of peripheral membrane proteins are disclosed.
    Type: Application
    Filed: September 23, 2022
    Publication date: August 17, 2023
Inventors: Joshua S. Salafsky, Carl Benton Moree, III
  • Publication number: 20230035093
Abstract: A pool heating system has a housing, a water inlet, a plurality of pipes comprising baffles, and a water outlet. The baffles create turbulence in the flow of the water, increasing kinetic energy and pressure (compression). As a result of the compression and kinetic energy, the temperature of the water increases. The water then passes to the outlet, where it exits at a higher temperature than when it entered.

  • Patent number: 10214228
Abstract: A hand truck for moving water heaters and toilets has a fixed frame with one or more fulcrum wheels on a rear side, at least one floor stabilizing arm coupled to and extending from a front side, at least one outrigger support beam extending from the rear of the fixed frame, the at least one outrigger support beam further comprising a wheel at a distal end; and an extendable frame having a vertical beam, a horizontal beam coupled to the top of the vertical beam, and at least one lifting arm extending perpendicularly to the horizontal beam; the extendable frame vertically adjustable in relation to the fixed frame.

  • Publication number: 20150330990
Abstract: Described herein are methods useful for screening candidate biochemical entities targeting a target biochemical entity and methods useful for identifying a binding moiety for a target biochemical entity. The invention provides methods of screening drug candidates targeting a target biomolecule, comprising selecting a drug candidate based on a signal difference between a first signal and a second signal. The signal difference indicates a difference in an in vivo or in vitro pharmacological property. The first signal is produced upon binding between the target biomolecule and a first candidate by contacting the target biomolecule with the first candidate, and the second signal is produced upon binding between the target biomolecule and a second candidate by contacting the target biomolecule with the second candidate.
