Publication number: 20250251075Abstract: A mounting assembly includes a track and a fixing assembly. The fixing assembly, which includes outer, positioning and retaining members, can be selectively connected and disconnected from the track, which has a slot defined in an elongate body. When connected to the track, the fixing assembly is moveable longitudinally in the slot. The positioning member, which is at least partially receivable in the slot, is engageable to the elongate body for longitudinally fixing the fixing assembly relative to the track. The retaining member, which is selectively laterally extendable from the positioning member, is movable between a retaining position in which, when the positioning member is at least partially received in the slot, the retaining member engages with the track to retain connection between the fixing assembly and the track, and a release position in which the fixing assembly can be disconnected from the track. Other mounting assemblies are disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 14, 2023Publication date: August 7, 2025Inventors: Martin GAGNE, Bruno DESAULNIERS, Maude LAUZON, Richard LABBE, Carl BOUCHARD

Patent number: 12326218Abstract: A coupling device includes base and plate members that are connectable to one another. The base member has a body with a coupling face, a stopper connected to the body and moveable between neutral and locked positions, and an actuation mechanism for moving the stopper. In a connected mode of the coupling device, a contact portion of the coupling face contacts a contact face of the plate member, and an alignment area of the contact portion corresponds to a position of an opening of the plate member. In the neutral position, the stopper is aligned with the alignment area and can be received in the opening thereby permitting removal of the plate member from the base member. In the locked position, the stopper is misaligned with the alignment area, and extends over a part of the plate member to restrict movement of the plate member away from the base member.Type: GrantFiled: May 12, 2023Date of Patent: June 10, 2025Assignee: TECHNOLOGIES CGC INC.Inventors: Carl Bouchard, Tommy Lapierre, Bruno Desaulniers

Publication number: 20250163947Abstract: A telescoping pole assembly includes first and second pole segments and a dampening assembly having a bushing, a gasket and a spigot. The first pole segment has a closed distal end and an open proximal end in which a distal end of the second pole segment is received. The bushing is attached to the distal end of the second pole segment, has a neck extending therebeyond. The gasket defines gasket opening and is shaped to fill an inner area of the first pole segment. The spigot extends from a gasket face towards the distal end of the second pole segment. In response to the pole segments moving towards each other, the neck contacts the gasket face and at least partially obstructs the gasket opening. In response to the pole segments moving away from each other, the neck is separated from the gasket face and does not obstruct the gasket opening.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 16, 2023Publication date: May 22, 2025Inventors: Carl BOUCHARD, Bruno DESAULNIERS, Richard LABBE
