  • Patent number: 7915558
Abstract: A circuit breaker is provided having three horizontal circuit breakers coupled together with a base housing. Each of the horizontal circuit breakers comprising a tank secured in the housing, first and second current transformers extending from the tank and exit and entrance insulators extending from the first and second current transformers. The housing is mountable on a support frame. To facilitate shipping and field assembly, the circuit breaker includes an control panel moveably coupled to the housing.

  • Patent number: 4517931
Abstract: An improved variable stroke internal combustion engine (10) is disclosed. The power stroke and exhaust stroke of the engine are relatively longer than the intake stroke and compression stroke for increased power output from the engine (10). A connecting rod (40) is pivotally connected to the piston (16) and a trunnion assembly (28). The trunnion assembly is rotatably mounted to a journal (24) on the crankshaft (20). A control shaft (46) is rotatably mounted within the engine and connected to the crankshaft (20) so that the control shaft rotates at one-half the angular velocity of the crankshaft. A control link (52) is rotatably mounted on a journal (50) of the control shaft (46) with its opposite end being pivotally connected to the trunnion assembly (28).

  • Patent number: 4373603
Abstract: A steering control system for automatically positioning the drive wheels of a tractor for crab steering in response to implement side draft. The steering system includes a conventional control device that produces output signals that are a function of the angular positions of the front and rear tractor wheels. The control device has a movable selector switch associated therewith which conditions the steering system for various modes of operation including automatic crab steering. In this mode of operation, a control signal from the implement draft arms is integrated into the conventional steering system control device for operating or turning the drive wheels to a crab position thereby counteracting implement side draft. Sensors are provided for detecting any changes in side draft force applied by the implement to the tractor draft arms.

  • Patent number: 4162712
Abstract: A vehicle differential control wherein the two axles and wheels thereon are influential in controlling the differential. Thus, speed sensors are on the two axles and link mechanisms connect the sensors to a valve unit which controls the flow of fluid to the differential and thus controls the operation of the differential and the subsequent speed of the respective axles. Also, the wheels on the axles are steerable wheels, and there is interconnecting mechanism between the wheels and the differential control mechanism so that when the wheels are steered the control mechanism is actuated to again influence the operation of the differential and thus rotate the respective axles accordingly. As such, there is a steering compensated differential controlled device which is both torque and speed sensed, and there is a wheel steering position compensated device which also influences the operation of the differential. The system is such that it assures traction control of all drive wheels at all times.

  • Patent number: 4157745
Abstract: A park-lock mechanism for a vehicle transmission having a rotatable gear held against rotation by a pawl movable in two directions and being free of a pivot mounting. The pawl has arcuate surfaces which are contacted by a control member, for moving the pawl in a direction radially of the gear, and there is a sliding support for the pawl and a tension spring for positioning the pawl relative to the gear. The force of rotation of the gear itself is transmitted to the pawl, after initial release of the pawl by the control member, and thus further force on the control member is only a minimal amount since the force from the gear assists the movement of the control member after that initial control member movement.
