  • Patent number: 10511336
Abstract: Methods and systems for a multi-band transceiver front-end architecture with reduced insertion loss may comprise, in a transceiver comprising a first plurality of switches (each with a common terminal coupled to a transmit signal path), a second plurality of switches (each with a common terminal coupled to a receive signal path), and a plurality of communications links: operatively coupling the transmit signal path to one of the communications links using one of the first switches when the transceiver is in a transmit mode, and operatively coupling the receive signal path to one of the communications links using one of the second switches when the transceiver is in a receive mode. An off capacitance of at least one of the switches may be reduced utilizing an operatively coupled inductive element. The inductive element may comprise an inductor operatively coupled in series with the transmit signal path.

  • Publication number: 20160134566
Abstract: A T/R and routing switch includes a plurality of banks of a plurality of switches that can be individually switched into or out of a transmit and receive circuit. A control module can be provided to switch one of the switches into the circuit to connect one of a receive signal path or a transmit signal path to one of a plurality of communication links.

  • Patent number: 7224235
Abstract: A local oscillator (LO) generator for driving a bank of mixers that provides precise phase relationship between multi-phase LO outputs comprises a shift register using slave-master-slave flip-flop elements. The LO generator can be used over a wide operating frequency range. The LO generator is suitable for driving a multi-phase LO clock input to a harmonic suppression mixer. A pattern generator produces a pattern signal and a reclocking signal that determines the frequency of the LO signals and the phase delay between the LO output phases.
