  • Patent number: 11964070
Abstract: A disinfectant and sanitizer canister system is disclosed. The system may include a pre-pressurized canister being pre-filled with one or more liquid cleaners and one or more propellants. The system may further include a valve sub-system including a dispensing valve and a valve control mechanism. The control mechanism may be configured to regulate the pressure of the pre-pressurized canister to cause the pre-pressurized canister to release the one or more liquid cleaners. The system may further include a dispensing sub-system configured to fluidically couple the pre-pressurized canister to the valve sub-system. The dispensing sub-system may include a dispensing member configured to dispense the one or more liquid cleaners contained within the pressurized canister. The system may further include a metering device, the metering device configured to provide a predetermined amount of pressure to dispense a predetermined metered dose of the one or more liquid cleaners.

  • Publication number: 20240050837
Abstract: A snooker pocket rail system (10) that provides an atmospheric control system (24) for heating the atmosphere in a region adjacent the rails (14) where one or more balls (18) are supported in use. This maintains the temperature of the balls (18) when not in play—so as to reduce adverse playing effects, such as “kick”, when the balls (18) are placed back onto the snooker table. The snooker pocket rail system (10) has a ball ring (12) from which the pocket rail (14) is suspended, in use, below a pocket by a net; an end stop (20); a plurality of rails (14) affixed at one end to the ball ring (12) and at their opposite ends to the end stop (20); and suspension means (26). The atmospheric control system (24) can be a heated air supply which directs (80, 84) heated air onto the balls (18) when suspended on the rails (14), or heated rails (14).

  • Publication number: 20230329195
Abstract: A bird feeder support for preventing or inhibiting the movement or swinging of a bird feeder when suspended from, or otherwise supported by, a support pole. The bird feeder support comprises a mount, such as a tube and screw, or a coil arrangement, which is releasably connectable to a support pole. A strut extends from the mount and holds at its distal end, a support in the form of a ring or a C-shaped member. The ring or C-shaped member partially or fully surrounds a part of a tubular bird feeder suspended from the support pole, so as to prevent it from swinging in the wind. Alternatively, the ring or C-shaped member can be used to support a dish bird feeder, also in a substantially fixed relationship to the support pole.

  • Publication number: 20230091910
Abstract: The engineered system disclosed herein takes extracted adult stem cells from individual mammal organs (such as adipose fat, bone marrow, or blood) and epigenetically rejuvenates the adult stem cells ex vivo back to a youthful fetal state using chemically defined small molecules. The rejuvenated multipotent stem cells are then exponentially expanded ex vivo in an automated bioreactor under novel conditions that maintain the youthful stem cell function while greatly reducing the risks of producing cancer stem cells. In another variation, this engineered system can also include improving the genetics of autologous adult stem cells using CRISPR base editing of genes affecting all-cause morbidity or mortality or genetic mutations. With or without gene editing, rejuvenated autologous multipotent stem cells are then reintroduced back into an organ or injected systemically into the circulation or bone marrow.

  • Patent number: 10103950
Abstract: Systems and methods may include deploying a probe within a unified infrastructure management (“UIM”) system. The systems and methods may include discovering, via the probe, hubs within the UIM system. Each hub may pass UIM traffic. The systems and methods may include establishing, for each hub, a queue on the hub. The queue may log quality of service (“QoS”) messages that pass through the hub. The systems and methods may include filtering, by the probe, each QoS message. The filtering of each QoS message may be filtering by a filter criteria. The filter criteria may specify an originating system at which the QoS message was originated. Additionally or alternatively, the filter criteria may specify a characteristic of a generating probe that generated the QoS message. The systems and methods may include providing information regarding each of the filtered QoS messages to a monitoring server.

  • Publication number: 20160294665
Abstract: Systems and methods may include deploying a first probe within a unified infrastructure management (UIM) system to monitor a system-level resource. The systems and methods may include determining that a monitored value for the system-level resource has crossed a threshold value. The systems and methods may include deploying a second probe within the UIM system to monitor a process-level resource in response to determining that the monitored value for the system-level resource has crossed the threshold value. The systems and methods may include storing information about the process-level resource obtained by the second probe in a memory.
