The invention also relates to a variable valve timing system comprising an assembly of a rotor and a stator receiving the rotor on a camshaft, wherein the rotor is a rotor body as described above, wherein an end part of the camshaft and/or a fixing element is received in the bore hole and the rotor is fixed at the end part of the camshaft with the fixing element.
