  • Publication number: 20060192314
Abstract: A method and device for forming a mat of material containing lignocellulose, which mat is intended to form at least one board, disintegrated material containing lignocellulose being fed to a feeding out unit, and from this being fed in the form of a material flow to a forming unit (200) comprising at least one forming belt (207), the feeding out unit being positioned at a higher level than the forming unit (200). At least one feeding down surface (14) is arranged which extends from the feeding out unit to the forming unit (200), and the transport of material between the feeding out unit and the forming unit (200) is effected by feeding the material downwards along this feeding down surface (14), whereby a controlled material flow is provided between these units.

  • Publication number: 20060151133
Abstract: The present invention relates to a plant and a method for producing and treating wood fibres in a plant comprising a fibre-producing part having a chip preheater (1) and a beater (2) for freeing fibre from wood chips. Such a plant and such a method are included as parts in a continuous production process of board and the object is to reduce the emission discharges of foremost VOC and formaldehyde, during different parts of the process as well as from the finished product.

  • Publication number: 20040261619
Abstract: When separating steam and gas from a stream containing, possibly glue-coated, fibre pulp produced by a refiner, the hot fibre pulp is directly fed from the refiner to a separation cyclone (4) placed in a drying channel (2) for drying the fibre pulp. A hot drying air flow having substantially higher temperature, about 160° C., than the fibre pulp is blown through the drying channel so that the separation cyclone is surrounded by the hot drying air flow. The light steam containing fraction separated by the separation cyclone is conducted out of the separation cyclone via an outlet conduit (9) away from the hot drying air flow, whereas the separated heavy fibre containing fraction is conducted out of the separation cyclone directly into the hot drying air flow that entrains the heady fraction to a drying plant. Energy is recovered from the light steam containing fraction and ecologically harmful substances are separated from the latter.
