  • Patent number: 6601781
Abstract: A rotary drive sprinkler having a multiplicity of nozzles which can be changed at any time. The nozzle assembly can have a cylindrical housing having a plurality of nozzles to rotate against a cylindrical housing having at least one stream outlet opening. A nozzle assembly can have a cylindrical cavity at its outer portion receiving a flexible nozzle strip for directing flow from a nozzle housing. A nozzle sleeve, or ring, having a plurality of exit nozzles around the outside of the nozzle assembly can be rotated about an inner housing.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 26, 2001
Date of Patent: August 5, 2003
Inventors: Carl L. C. Kah, III, Carl L. C. Kah, Jr.

  • Patent number: 6182909
Abstract: A rotary drive sprinkler has a nozzle assembly having a recess in a cylindrical housing for receiving a cylindrical nozzle selection disc having a plurality of nozzle openings. The cylindrical nozzle selection disc is rotatable to place one of its nozzle openings in an exit flow passage in the cylindrical housing. An arc set indicating and setting mechanism is included.

  • Patent number: 6085995
Abstract: A rotary drive sprinkler having a multiplicity of nozzles which can be selectively changed at any time. The nozzle assembly has an internal rotor member for bringing one of the nozzles into operation as the internal rotor is turned. A water flow can be directed from a rotor to a selected nozzle in a fixed circumferential row of nozzles to create a nozzle stream leaving the nozzle assembly, or a nozzle stream can be directed from a specific nozzle of a circumferential row of nozzles in an internal rotor to a single passage open to the exterior of the nozzle assembly.

  • Patent number: 5826797
Abstract: An oscillatable nozzle sprinkler with operationally changeable nozzles from the top. One configuration consists of a multiple nozzle cylindrical sleeve which allows a desired nozzle for flow rate and trajectory to be rotationally selected while the sprinkler is operating. Another configuration allows individual nozzles to be inserted into the top of the sprinkler housing while the sprinkler is operating.
