  • Publication number: 20100036771
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for processing automated clearing house (ACH) historical data is provided. The system includes a storage device, a processor, a reconciler component, a risk management component, a pattern matching component, a distribution component, and a display device. The storage device stores ACH historical data from depository financial institutions (DFI) and an ACH operator. The reconciler component identifies related ACH transactions. The risk management component calculates and displays return exposure. The pattern matching component detects rules violations and sends alerts to the DFIs. The distribution component generates and displays a time distribution of ACH returns.

  • Patent number: 7191462
Abstract: A method of and apparatus for transmitting video images allows a viewer to receive at a receiving display device, all or a selected portion of a video stream of frames, in a storage-efficient format from a transmitting device and view the received video stream of frames before the transmission is complete. The video system also allows a viewer to receive at the receiving device, all or a selected portion of a video stream of frames, in a high-resolution format, by marking sections of interest within the received stream of frames in the storage-efficient format and requesting enhancement of those marked sections of interest. This apparatus preferably includes a source device, a transmitting device and at least one receiving device. Preferably, the transmitting device and the receiving device communicate over a network such as the Internet Protocol network. Alternatively, the transmitting device and the receiving device communicate over any appropriate data network.

  • Patent number: 4641528
Abstract: An assembly for identifying the results of a specimen analysis wherein such specimen analysis occurs in an array of discrete cells. The assembly includes a housing having top, bottom, end walls, and sidewalls. An array receiving recess is provided on the top wall for receiving and holding in a fixed position the array of the discrete cells. An ultrasonic signal producing stylus is provided for selectively producing an ultrasonic signal adjacent a cell in the array in which the results of the analysis are to be identified. A first ultrasonic signal transducer is provided on the top wall for converting the ultrasonic signal from the ultrasonic signal generator to a first electrical signal. A second ultrasonic signal transducer is provided on the top wall for converting the ultrasonic signal from the ultrasonic signal generator to a second electrical signal.
