    Abstract: A torsion damper, especially for a clutch friction wheel in a heavy duty vehicle, comprises two coaxial parts which are mounted for relative rotation with respect to each other. One of these parts comprises a hub plate, formed with slots in which resilient members are mounted, while the other rotatable part comprises two guide rings arranged on either side of the hub plate. Each guide ring is formed with housings in which the resilient members are also mounted. The slots in the hub plate are formed by cutting with the aid of a laser beam.
