Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes detecting activity of one or more agents of a customer that modifies a processing state of a first of multiple invoices, each invoice requesting approval from the customer. The activity is conducted by the one or more agents through interacting with the procurement processing system. The method includes updating, based on the detected activity, an invoice interaction history record associated with the first invoice in an invoice interaction history datastore communicatively coupled to the procurement processing system. The method includes generating one or more metrics regarding activity of the agents affecting a processing state of the invoices based on the updated invoice interaction history datastore. The method includes providing the one or more metrics for presentation to a user of the procurement processing system associated with the customer.

Abstract: A bundle database management server computer (“system”) and related methods are disclosed. In some embodiments, the system is programmed or configured with data structures and/or database records that are arranged to manage multiple bundles of digital objects for multi-tenant access under version control. The digital objects may include a template form or a form created from a template form, and each bundle may comprise at least two digital objects, where one is created from the other or executed in response to the execution of other. The system enables each bundle to be utilized and reused as a unit and readily integrated into online events involving multiple clients.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for handling incoming calls during an operational mode for a portable intelligent communications device when a user thereof is engaged in a meeting, where the portable intelligent communications device is configured to handle each incoming call in an individual manner. When an incoming call is received while in such operational mode, a plurality of options are generated in a graphical user interface. The user of the portable intelligent communications device then activates one of the options made available for handling each incoming call.

Abstract: In a dual-mode satellite/cellular phone system, a user has the option of placing or receiving calls to and from the satellite network with either the cellular/PCS phone or the fully self-contained, stand-alone satellite phone. If the user places or receives a satellite call with the cellular/PCS phone, the communication signals to and from the cellular/PCS phone will first be received from or transmitted to the satellite phone over a short-range, low-power communication link. The satellite phone, in turn, communicates directly with the satellite network from a location that is within a short range of the cellular/PCS phone, and from a location that preferably has a direct line-of-sight with the one or more satellites that make up the satellite network.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for effectuating communication between a mobile telephone and at least one communication network not supported by the mobile telephone. A converter interfaces to a mobile telephone to effectuate communication between the mobile telephone and the communication network.The converter includes a controller for controlling operation of the converter and further for selecting a communication network for communicating with the mobile telephone. Communication protocol functionality within the mobile computer effectuates communication between the mobile telephone and the selected communication network and an interface provides for communication between the mobile telephone and the communication network.

Abstract: A communication system is disclosed as including a plurality of mobile radio telephones, a control unit for transmitting a signaling message to an intended mobile radio telephone, and at least one paging channel through which the control unit is able to transmit the signaling message at varying margin levels. The control unit initially transmits the signaling message at a specified margin level for a predetermined number of attempts and progressively continues to transmit the signaling message at margin levels greater than the specified margin level until the intended mobile radio telephone receives the signaling message.
