Abstract: A pivotable folding utility table includes a table top having a pair of support pedestals pivotally attached thereto. A first pivotal support brace including a distal end and a proximal end attached to the first support pedestal. A second pivotal support brace including a distal end and a proximal end attached to the second support pedestal. The distal ends of the first and second pivotal support braces pivotally attached to a retaining assembly preferably mounted in relation to the table top. Specifically, the retaining assembly includes a cross-brace member operably disposed through openings formed in the distal ends of the first and second pivotal support braces, thus providing a pivotal engagement in relation to the table top.

Abstract: A basketball goal system may include a rim assembly that forms part of a breakaway rim that can deflect downwardly when a force larger than a predetermined amount is applied to the rim. The basketball goal system may include a support pole, a support structure including a pair of upper arms and a pair of lower arms, a backboard support frame including a pair of elongated members, and a backboard. The elongated members of the backboard support frame are preferably connected to one of the upper support arms and one of the lower support arms of the support structure, and these upper and lower support arms are preferably connected to the support pole. The basketball goal system may also include a backboard connected to the backboard support frame and a rim assembly including a pair of support arms. The support arms of the rim assembly are preferably connected to the elongated members of the backboard support frame.

Abstract: A foldable picnic table is shown. The foldable picnic table includes a table top supported by two support pedestals pivotally attached to the table top. Each support pedestal is capable of telescoping engagement. The foldable picnic table also includes benches attached to the pedestals by bench support members. The foldable picnic table includes means for locking the table in an extended position. When the support pedestals are retracted, the pedestals and the attached bench supports can pivot inwardly toward the table top such that the entire unit is substantially flat.

Abstract: A net mounting assembly for use in playing the game of table tennis is disclosed. The net mounting assembly comprises a pair of net brackets with each net bracket including a net post to which a standard table tennis net may be secured. Each net bracket also includes an extension arm which is pivotally mounted to the net post. A stop is provided for preventing the net post from pivoting beyond a position substantially perpendicular to the table tops. Also included is an attachment assembly which corresponds to each net bracket. The attachment assembly secures the corresponding net bracket while permitting the net bracket to pivot relative to the table. The attachment assembly is further configured to slidably engage the extension arm, thereby permitting the tension of the net to be adjusted and the extension arm to thereafter be secured in place.
