  • Publication number: 20160235920
Abstract: A syringe for administering medicament from a cartridge. The syringe includes a sleeve having an interior for receiving the cartridge extending between a distal hub and a proximal opening. The syringe has a cap selectively covering the proximal opening for retaining the cartridge in the interior of the sleeve. The cap includes a finger grip extending outward from the sleeve for engaging fingers of a user. The syringe also has a plunger rod movably connected to the cap. The plunger rod has a distal connector for selectively connecting the rod to the cartridge plunger when the cartridge is received in the interior of the sleeve to push medicament from the cartridge reservoir as the plunger rod moves with respect to the cap.

  • Publication number: 20140346200
Abstract: An apparatus for an infant carrier configured to carry an infant therein. The apparatus comprises: a handle assembly; and a carrier-nesting assembly. The carrier-nesting assembly is configured to: receivably and supportably nest the infant carrier; and couple with the handle assembly in such a way that once the handle assembly is extended away from the infant carrier received by the carrier-nesting assembly, the carrier-nesting assembly is configured to provide an instance of a junction of branch members located on opposite sides of the infant carrier. A weight of the infant carrier and of the infant received in the infant carrier is safely supported by the carrier-nesting assembly once the carrier-nesting assembly is set apart from the ground. Instances of the junction of branch members that are formed by the carrier-nesting assembly improve lateral stability of the infant carrier.

  • Publication number: 20120078214
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a vial transfer needle assembly that includes a housing and a vial access member. The housing includes a proximal skirt and a distal skirt that is connected by a central hub portion. The central hub portion defines a central bore that extends between the proximal skirt and the distal skirt. The central bore of the housing includes an annular bead, a side wall, and a shoulder. The vial access member is disposed within the central bore of the housing such that the top surface of the flange is positioned underneath the annular bead of the central bore to thereby secure the vial access member within the housing.

  • Patent number: 5345589
Abstract: Method for centralized monitoring of activity in a distributed processing system which permits a monitor to decipher the relative time sequence of events which occur in the distributed processing system. The method includes the step of generating information which can be used to decipher the relative time sequence of events, which information is appended to activity status messages, and the step of transmitting this information, along with the activity status messages, to the monitor.
