    Abstract: A polyurethane foam packing unit formed in desired cross-sectional configuration and having a relatively low density. A block which may also be formed of polyurethane or the like is disposed within the unit, and possesses a higher density than that of the mass. A polyurethane flexible liner encompasses the mass and the block embedded therein. The invention further incorporates the method of producing such a unit.
