A top panel overlies the upper surface of the base label and is joined to the base label adjacent the first end. The top panel has an upper surface. A tab having upper and lower opposed surfaces overlies the upper surface of the base label. An adhesive patch is interposed between the base label and the tab adjacent the second end. The adhesive patch secures the lower surface of the tab to the upper surface of the base label. A laminate cover overlies the top panel and the tab. A laminate adhesive secures the laminate cover to the upper surface of the top panel and releasably joins the laminate cover to the upper surface of the tab.

The tab member is separately formed from the leaflet. An exposed portion of the tab member is disposed alongside the leaflet adjacent the end edge. The tab member has a lower surface. The adhesive layer includes a first adhesive portion engaging the lower surface of the leaflet and a second adhesive portion engaging the lower surface of the tab member. At least a portion of the leaflet does not overlie the tab member. The label may include a laminate cover overlying the upper surface of the leaflet and including a laminate tab portion overlying the exposed portion of the tab member.

A method is provided for using a child resistant carton including a carton and a tray slidably mounted in the carton. The carton includes a body panel and a locking panel spaced apart from one another and defining a locking chamber therebetween. The tray includes a locking tab. The method includes inserting at least an insert portion of the locking tab into the locking chamber to resist withdrawal of the tray from the carton, and displacing the locking tab from the locking chamber to release the tray.

The label further includes a laminate adhesive including a first adhesive portion releasably and resealably securing the first laminate portion to the varnish on the upper surface of the closure portion, and a second adhesive portion securing the second laminate portion to the upper surface of the pull tab portion. A closure portion adhesive coats the lower surface of the closure portion.

    Abstract: A hanger label for use with an intended substrate and a support includes a hanger member. The hanger member includes an attachment portion having a lower surface and a hanger portion having a lower surface. The hanger portion defines an opening adapted to receive the support. A first, permanent adhesive coats the lower surface of the attachment portion to substantially permanently adhere the attachment portion to the substrate and a second, non-permanent adhesive coats the lower surface of the hanger portion to temporarily adhere the hanger portion to the substrate. Alternatively, a second, permanent, patterned adhesive may partially coat the hanger portion to temporarily adhere the hanger portion to the substrate. A base label may be provided.

The leaflet is applied to the release liner and the leaflet adhesive patch such that a first portion of the bottom panel overlies the leaflet adhesive patch and a second portion of the bottom panel adjacent the fold line extends beyond the end edge of the leaflet adhesive patch.
