Abstract: A screen-printed laminated multilayer capacitive touchpad seamlessly integrated into an artificial leather substrate, allowing multi-touch interaction to the user. The printed touchpad is meant to provide touch, multi-touch and gestures recognition over artificial leather articles, enabling the possibility of integration in automotive interior applications. The touchpad device has an artificial leather articles with a fully physically integrated printed touchpad on its structure resorting to the use of an insulation membrane that also ensures the protection of the device, contributing to its durability.

Abstract: A fuel tank isolation valve is provided having a main valve body including a fuel tank port and a canister port, a main bore, and an actuator selectively operable to allow or inhibit vented fuel vapors to move from the first port to the second port along a first path. The body can define an airflow bypass orifice that allows vapors to move from the first port, through the main bore, to the second port along a second path, while the actuator is in the closed mode inhibiting vapors from moving along the first path. This flow through the orifice can equalize pressure in a fuel tank and the canister during a purging operation on the canister. The valve can include a fitting that directly couples the valve to the canister without any intermediate hoses, in a cantilevered manner. A related method of use is provided.

Abstract: The present invention discloses composite substances that can be used in the production of objects and building materials by means of fusion thereof, and provide particular physical properties, including barrier to the transmission of ultraviolet radiation and to the transfer of liquids and gases, whereby said composite substances present thermoplastic matrixes that include synthetic polymers and/or bio-polymers, as well as further vegetal fibre associated with at least one sub-product from the processing of an edible vegetal substance, thereby providing a new economic utilization of such sub-products, and composite substances with a high degree of bio-degradation once of the disposal thereof. The present invention further discloses uses of said composite substances and processes for production of said composite substances.
