  • Patent number: 12138204
Abstract: A support device for use on a fixed or mobile medical bed is disclosed. The device includes: a mattress element, configured to receive on it the body of a subject in a lying position and for this purpose presenting a flat conformation with a longitudinal dimension (L) prevalent with respect to a transversal dimension (T); fixing means of the mattress element to the support structure, arranged in correspondence with a portion of the longitudinal margin of said mattress element and connected or connectable to the latter. The fixing means have a continuously or discreetly adjustable position (P) along the longitudinal margin portion of the mattress element.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 15, 2021
Date of Patent: November 12, 2024
    Assignee: AB MEDICA S.P.A.
Inventors: Carlambrogio Bianchi, Diego Casati, Cristiano Bettinelli

  • Patent number: 8091376
Abstract: A bent coil used in a ducted heating and cooling unit improves heat exchange. The bent coil increases the overall surface area of the coil for a given duct volume. Openings in a separation wall focus an air flow from fans towards the bent coil. Fins direct the air through the bent coil, and a net removes turbulence from the air flow prior to moving through the bent coil. The bent coil discharges air both longitudinally and laterally, eliminating the need for any additional ducting downstream from the bent coil to divert air toward the sides.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 27, 2005
Date of Patent: January 10, 2012
    Assignee: Carrier Corporation

  • Publication number: 20050126765
Abstract: A bent coil for use in a ducted heating and cooling unit improves the heat exchange. The bent coil increases the overall surface area of the coil for a given duct volume, improving the heat exchange characteristics of the coil. The bent coil discharges air both longitudinally and laterally, eliminating the need for any additional ducting downstream from the coil to divert air toward the sides.
