  • Patent number: 11571846
Abstract: A blow mold provided with a locking system for mutually locking each half-mold with the related half-mold holder, thus allowing a simpler and quicker replacement of the side half-impressions of the mold. The blow mold of the invention provides for the side half-impression of each half-mold to be fixed in a cavity of the corresponding mold holder by actuating at least one quick coupling device comprising a bar (23) inserted in one of the two longitudinal edges of the half-mold holder (3) and adapted to move only by rotation about an axis thereof; actuation means (22) adapted to actuate a rotation of said bar; and at least one locking fin (21) fixed along said bar (23) and adapted to move, by rotating the bar (23), from an unlocking position to a locking position in which said locking fin interacts with the respective half-mold (2).

  • Patent number: 7838805
Abstract: Preform heating device able to perform a precise and strongly localised heating of the preforms before the blow moulding phase of the plastic bottle or container production process. This device has an innovative construction configuration, thus allowing high efficiency thanks to the significant reduction in the energy required to reach the project temperatures in the heating element in a very rapid way. The inductor does not heat the preform directly, but takes to the temperature set, through the concentration of the magnetic flow, generated by the passage of current, a conductor material of a particular form that, by irradiation and convection, in turn heats the PET.

  • Publication number: 20070134367
Abstract: A nozzle comprises a hollow element comprising a recess and an injection hole (6) to inject fluid plastic into a mould, a heating tip which penetrates inside the recess and forms, together with the recess itself, a holding cavity (5) into which the channels (14) run. The holding cavity (5) comprises narrow section (52) which separates the holding cavity (5) into a rear portion (51) and a front portion (50), in order to reduce or completely prevent exchanges of fluid plastic between the two areas.

  • Patent number: 6506045
Abstract: A nozzle, for the injection of molten plastics, includes a rear central portion terminating with a planar surface, and an outer annular element terminating with a corresponding planar surface on its rear side. The terminal planar surface of the central portion is situated in a more rearward position relative to the planar surface of the outer annular element. A first annular groove forms an acute angle between the outer edge of the rear portion and an inner surface of the outer annular element. A second annular groove, forming an acute angle, is provided in the rear portion. The two annular grooves open in opposite directions, and the bottoms of the respective grooves are located at substantially the same height of the nozzle.
