  • Publication number: 20240372595
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for suppression, at a first radio access node, of interference caused by one or more other radio access nodes when the first radio access node and/or the other radio access nodes operate in a full duplex mode. The full duplex mode comprises simultaneous transmission and reception in a same frequency interval. The method comprises acquiring measurements indicative of channel conditions between the one or more other radio access nodes and the first radio access node, wherein channel conditions indicate interference caused at the first radio access node by the one or more other radio access nodes.

  • Patent number: 11438856
Abstract: Method and system of wireless TDMA scheduling for industrial machine-to-machine communication, including propagation-delay-aware scheduling. A method of scheduling in a TDMA based communication system between a first node and a plurality of second nodes by means of a respective communication link. The method may comprise obtaining a propagation time for each communication link; and determining the largest difference in propagation times of two communication links. The method may further include selecting a first mode of scheduling if the largest difference is smaller than a threshold, and selecting a second mode of scheduling if the largest difference is larger than the threshold. The first mode includes selecting a guard time to be applied in each of the time slots, which guard time is based on the largest difference. The second mode is propagation-delay-aware and includes scheduling the transmission from each second node on the basis of the respective propagation time.

  • Patent number: 11337236
Abstract: A method for time-slotted scheduling of packets in timeslots between N nodes and K>1 access points in an industrial wireless network, performed by a network controller of the industrial wireless network. The method includes determining the time-slotted scheduling by allocating each timeslot to a respective one of the nodes, wherein each timeslot for each node is divided in K sub-slots, one for each access point, such that in sub-slot k of each timeslot, where 1?k?K, transmission or reception of a packet is made between access point k and the node to which that timeslot is allocated. The method includes providing information to the access points about the determined time-slotted scheduling.

  • Publication number: 20180190251
Abstract: A method and process to set the parameters of a Control Algorithm and to synthesize and generate a variety of sounds and vibration that are normally not available on a specific acoustic stringed instrument are disclosed. The technical problems of generating a different timbre, sound and vibration of a stringed acoustic instrument (Controlled Instrument) in real time are solved. The invention describes a process (Cloning Procedure) where specific set of parameters needed to imitate a target instrument are defined; The imitation of the Target Instrument's timbre on the Controlled Instrument is performed by the Control Algorithm which employs two digital Linear-Time-Invariant systems to drive the actuators based on by controlling the actuators with a couple of digital Linear-Time-Invariant systems that receive the vibration signal from the measurement apparatus. The process can be optionally deactivated, thus having the Controlled Instrument acting as a traditional acoustic instrument.

  • Publication number: 20180190252
Abstract: The invention describes the design and the technique for creating the ideal bed and for positioning sensors to the neck of a stringed instrument, such as a guitar. The problem solved addresses the need of the performer to easily identify, activate or deactivate one or more sensors while, at the same time, playing the instrument and without, for instance, unnatural or uncomfortable torsions of the hand or unwanted pauses. The solution provided consists on an ad-hoc chamfered flat surface on the back part of the guitar's neck; such flat surface is the ideal bed where sensors can be located and accessed.

  • Patent number: 8243620
Abstract: To reduce energy consumption in a duty-cycled asynchronous wireless communication network values of operation parameters, i.e. duration of the awake interval and duration of the sleep interval, of routing nodes of the network are determined and set. The network is partitioned into clusters so that each cluster comprises one cluster-head node. The energy consumption of a cluster is a function of the probability of busy channel when nodes of the cluster attempt transmission, the probability of communication collision during transmission, the duration of the awake interval and the duration of the sleep interval of its cluster-head node. Reduction of the energy consumption is carried out under predetermined values of the probability of busy channel and of the probability of communication collision and under predetermined constraint for the probability of successful transfer of data packets within the cluster and for the average delay of transfer of data packets within the cluster.
