  • Publication number: 20210324842
Abstract: A tube for a peristaltic pump comprises an elastically deformable tubular body (2) made from a PVC composition containing: 100 phr of a PVC resin having a K value, measured according to standard ISO 1628-2, of not less than 85, from 40 to 100 phr of DEHA plasticizer, from 0.05 to 1.0 phr of lubricant, from 0.3 to 15.0 phr of stabilizer and co-stabilizer. The deformable tube, which is usefully employed for liquid transport in a dialysis apparatus, enables a high level of fluid transport efficiency to be maintained, even after many hours of peristaltic pump operation.

  • Patent number: 7559911
Abstract: A blood chamber for extracorporeal blood circuits comprises a container body (2) made in a single piece by blowing of a plastic material, and has a plurality of connection ports (3, 4) for fluid communication with outside; each connection port (3, 4) comprises a tubular mouth (6) having a truncoconical internal surface (61) which is coupled in a fluid-proof coupling to a tubular first part (101) of an insert (10), made by injection molding of a plastic material. The insert (10) has a truncoconical and smooth internal surface (102) which is coupled by gluing with a solvent to an end zone of a fluid transport tube (7, 8). The coupling between the blood chamber and the fluid transport tubes is very strong and reliable. The blood chamber is part of an extracorporeal blood circuit which is operatively associated to a dialysis machine.

  • Publication number: 20050015070
Abstract: A drainage bag (3), part of a dialysis set, comprises a wrapper (4), fluid-sealed, and a transparent pocket (10) superposed on a part of the wrapper (4); an edge of the pocket (10) has a first part (11a) which is fixed to the wrapper (4), and a second part (11b) which is free and delimits an opening of the pocket (10). The pocket (10) at least partially contains a drainage tube of the used dialysis liquid which is fluidly connected with an inside of the bag (3). The bag (3) keeps the tubing forming the dialysis set in a stable conformation both during a production process thereof and at moment of use, reducing a risk of endoluminal contamination of the dialysis set. The bag (3) is usable in particular for collection of a used and used peritoneal dialysis liquid.
