Patent number: 11015860Abstract: A door for closing a compartment of a cooled kitchen appliance having a door liner and a storage bin mounted to the door liner. The door liner comprises a first side configured to face the compartment that the door closes, walls protruding from the first side of the liner, and a ledge also protruding from the first side of the liner. The storage bin comprises walls which, together with the walls and ledge of the liner, define a storage space that can store items. The storage bin and door liner can comprise mating lug features that allow the storage bin to be mounted to the door liner. In one example, the storage bin can comprise an isolated sub-section defining an isolated storage space separate from the rest of the storage space of the storage bin.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2019Date of Patent: May 25, 2021Assignee: Electrolux Home Products, Inc.Inventors: Bruno Rodrigues Bassani, Cristhian Camilo Serrano Camacho, Carlos Cordero

Patent number: 4461400Abstract: A valveless dispenser and method of operating the same is disclosed for first gravitatinally collecting a measured volume of granular material from an elevated supply source by moving the dispenser into a first position, and for thereafter discharging the measured volume of material while precluding discharge of unmeasured material from the tank by moving the dispenser to a second position. The dispenser includes a wand, a measuring chamber, and a discharge chute all communicating with each other at a junction and all having longitudinal axes lying in a common substantially vertical plane. In one embodiment the wand is twisted about its longitudinal axis between said two positions; and in the other embodiments the wand is swung in the vertical planes between said two positions while maintaining said axes substantially vertical.Type: GrantFiled: August 31, 1981Date of Patent: July 24, 1984Assignee: FMC CorporationInventors: Dennis D.
