Publication number: 20240144549Abstract: According to various embodiments, an artificial intelligence framework capable of neural synthesis of tileable textures is provided. Using a non-tileable texture input, such as single or multi-layer texture stacks, high-quality tileable textures can be generated that match the appearance of the input samples, while increasing their spatial resolution. Embodiments are provided that leverage a latent space approach in a generative network for synthesizing seamlessly tileable textures, which can maintain semantic consistency in boundaries between tiles. A tileabilty metric is provided as feedback to improve and optimize the tileability of the outout texture, for example using a sampling algorithm that can generate high-resolution, artifact-free tileable textures. In embodiments, a convolutional discriminator is provided for detecting artifacts in the synthesized textures by locally estimating the quality of the synthesized maps.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 18, 2021Publication date: May 2, 2024Applicant: SEDDI, INC.Inventors: Elena GARCÉS, Carlos RODRÍGUEZ-PARDO

Publication number: 20240136049Abstract: A method and system are provided for conversational cognitive stimulation performed on an electronic device. The system conducts a lifelike motivational interview, using human speech synthesis, to assess a user's cognitive health, emotional state, topics of interest, sentiment, and overall well-being. This may be accomplished by analyzing vocal and verbal components of the user's responses in the motivational interview through linguistic and paralinguistic analysis. The system may further perform a method to train the user's cognitive abilities according to the results of the motivational interview. The training is customized to each user through customized tasks, questions, and a duration of the training. The system can track changes to the user's cognitive health, abilities, and other areas and make adjustments to the training to promote cognitive stimulation.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 24, 2022Publication date: April 25, 2024Inventors: Carlos Rodriguez, Jon Andoni Duñabeitia

Patent number: 11762979Abstract: A device determines that a data breach of an application has been reported and determines that an individual has an account with the application based on identifying an association between an application identifier and a username the individual uses to access the application. The device receives, from a user device associated with the individual, password information used to access the application. The device uses the password information and usernames for a group of applications with which the individual has accounts to perform a login procedure for the group of applications to determine that login information for one or more of the applications includes the password information used to access the application affected by the data breach. The device provides, to the user device or another device, a recommendation to change the password information used to access the application and the one or more applications.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 2021Date of Patent: September 19, 2023Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Joshua Edwards, Michael Mossoba, Ljubica Chatman, Jason Ji, Carlos Rodriguez

Patent number: 11755048Abstract: A compensator is described with higher bandwidth than a traditional differential compensator, lower area than traditional differential compensator (e.g., 40% lower area), and lower power than traditional differential compensator. The compensator includes a differential to single-ended circuitry that reduces the number of passive devices used to compensate an input signal. The high bandwidth compensator allows for faster power state and/or voltage transitions. For example, a pre-charge technique is applied to handle faster power state transitions that enables aggressive dynamic voltage and frequency scaling (DVFS) and voltage transitions. The compensator is configurable in that it can operate in voltage mode or current mode.Type: GrantFiled: April 1, 2021Date of Patent: September 12, 2023Assignee: Intel CorporationInventors: Sergio Carlo Rodriguez, Alexander Lyakhov, Gerhard Schrom, Keith Hodgson, Sarath S.
