  • Patent number: 11911136
Abstract: A device for calculating a subject's cardiac pulse transit or arrival time information is configured to receive an electronic audio signal with information indicative of a human voice signal and a primary cardiac pulse signal; generate a power spectral profile of a section of the electronic audio signal, and detect a fundamental frequency (F0) of the generated power spectral profile; generate a denoised audio signal; generate a time-domain intermediate signal that captures frequency, amplitude and/or phase of the denoised audio signal; detect at least one intermediate signal fiducial point, within a human cardiac band, in the intermediate signal; detect at least one primary cardiac pulse fiducial point, within a human cardiac band, in the primary cardiac pulse signal; calculate pulse transit time or pulse arrival time information between the at least one detected primary cardiac signal fiducial point and the at least one detected intermediate signal fiducial point.

  • Patent number: 11721358
Abstract: A device for calculating cardiovascular heartbeat information is configured to receive an electronic audio signal with information representative of a human voice signal in the time-domain, the human voice signal comprising a vowel audio sound of a certain duration and a fundamental frequency; generate a power spectral profile of a section of the electronic audio signal, and detect the fundamental frequency (F0) in the generated power spectral profile; filter the received audio signal within a band around at least the detected fundamental frequency (F0) and thereby generating a denoised audio signal; generate a time-domain intermediate signal that captures frequency, amplitude and/or phase of the denoised audio signal; detect and calculate heartbeat information within a human cardiac band in the intermediate signal.

  • Publication number: 20200390348

  • Patent number: 10721392
Abstract: According to an aspect of the present inventive concept there is provided a method for eye tracking, comprising: capturing a sequence of digital images of an eye of a user; outputting data including said sequence of images to an image processing unit; processing said data by the image processing unit to determine a sequence of positions of the eye, each position being indicative of a gaze direction, acquiring biosignal data representing an activity of the eye; and in response to detecting closing of the eye based on the acquired biosignal data, pausing at least one of said capturing, said outputting and said processing. A system for implementing the method is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20180341328
Abstract: A method for monitoring an eye position, comprises: capturing (202) a sequence of digital images of an eye; acquiring (204) a sequence of biosignal data representing eye movements; determining (206) a set of reference eye positions based on the sequence of digital images; and determining (208) a set of intermediate eye positions based on said set of reference eye positions and said sequence of biosignal data, said set of intermediate eye positions representing eye positions relative to said set of reference eye positions, wherein the set of intermediate eye positions represents eye positions between consecutive pairs of images of said sequence of digital images.

  • Patent number: 9477419
Abstract: A memory control system for controlling read and write operations of a non-volatile memory, wherein the memory control system comprises a memory controller that is adapted to implement a write operation for writing at least one block of data to the memory as a sequence of memory write and validation cycles for part of all of the data. In one example, the number of cycles is a function of the amount of successfully written data per cycle and is thus variable in dependence on the success of the data writing. The system also includes a power management unit, which is adapted to authorize or prevent the memory controller from conducting the write operation at the level of the write cycles thereby to control the timing of power consumption resulting from the cycles of the write operation.
