The method now disclosed describes the use of a static or dynamic mixer to react the CO2 with the incoming of nation liquor to whom Ca(OH)2 was previously added and readily starts the precipitation of tiny carbonate crystals. This solution can be advantageously used to compensate the deficit of CO2 in the carbonation process. This method for carbonation can be applied for example in the sugar refining industry.
