  • Patent number: 11835258
Abstract: An exhaust vent assembly with selectively removable top wall that includes an exhaust vent body with a base wall, two opposing sidewalls, a rear wall, and the top wall that is capable of being removed from the sidewalls to provide access to the inside (or vent channel) of the exhaust vent assembly. The top wall is capable of having a closed position with the top wall secured and covering the upper edges of the two opposing sidewalls and with a mesh screen coupled to the exhaust vent body that is capable of preventing animals, certain insects, and other matter from entering the vent channel. The top wall is configured to have an open position with the top wall substantially uncovering the upper edges of the two opposing sidewalls and providing access to the vent channel.

  • Patent number: 11235499
Abstract: A composite article has an interior layer comprising a natural fiber and an exterior layer injection molded onto the interior layer. The exterior layer forms an outer surface over the interior layer. A method of forming the composite article includes providing a base layer comprising a natural fiber and providing a first tool and a second tool. The first and second tools are configured to cooperate to form a cavity therebetween. The first tool has an injection molding channel formed therein. The base layer is inserted into the cavity between the first and second tools and pressed into a desired shape. A liquid polymeric material is inserted through the injection molding channel of the first tool and onto a surface of the base layer to form an injection molded layer of the polymeric material on the base layer.

  • Patent number: 11012885
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods are described herein for communicating data using an adjustable software defined radio. In one aspect, an ultra-narrowband communication device may include a radio frequency (RF) element and a computing element communicatively coupled to the RF element. The computing element, which may include at least one processor and memory, may define a software defined radio. The memory of the computing element may store instructions, that when executed by the at least one processor, configure the communication device to at least one of transmit or receive data over at least two different ultra-narrowband channels using a first communication protocol. • Patent number: 9738123
Abstract: A vehicle warning includes a tire pressure monitoring device disposed in each tire of the vehicle. Each tire pressure monitoring device obtains information regarding pressure within the associated tire and communicated the tire pressure information in a wireless manner. A receiver receives the communicated tire pressure information from each tire pressure monitoring device. A processor circuit, associated with the receiver, determines if the communicated tire pressure information from at least one of the tire pressure monitoring devices is significantly less than a tire pressure determined to be safe for vehicle operation and, if so, to generate a warning signal. A body control module, upon receiving the warning signal, automatically activates the hazard lights without driver input.

  • Patent number: 7880339
Abstract: An isolation circuitry and method are provided for coupling between a power supply and processing circuitry in order to provide power to the processing circuitry whilst hiding a power consumption characteristic of that processing circuitry. The isolation circuitry comprises a plurality of sub-circuits, with each sub-circuit comprising a capacitor, a first switch configured to provide a first connection between the capacitor and the power supply, a second switch configured to provide a second connection between the capacitor and the processing circuitry, and a third switch configured to provide a third connection across the capacitor to partially discharge the capacitor. Control circuitry controls the plurality of sub-circuits, such that within each sub-circuit the first switch, second switch and third switch are placed in an active state in a repeating sequence.

  • Publication number: 20090266358
Abstract: A vaporizer and cartridge system are disclosed. The vaporizer may be considered a universal vaporizer in that the vaporizer may use several different liquid anesthetic materials rather than just one. The cartridges may be single-use cartridges that are disposed after use rather than refilled by an end user. The cartridges may have one or more memory devices within the cartridge so that information about the cartridge may be communicated to the vaporizer such as the type of liquid anesthetic material carried by this cartridge. The vaporizer/cartridge system may be implemented to allow the vaporizer to update information in the cartridge memory such as the amount of liquid anesthetic material that was consumed during a particular session of use of the cartridge. The vaporizer may maintain a virtual logbook with information about the operation of the vaporizer.
