  • Patent number: 5975054
Abstract: A security system, which prevents unauthorized access to an adjusting or function element of a fuel supply pump. To that end, the security device comprises a base part, having a bottom by way of which the base part is screwed to a housing wall of the fuel supply pump, and a cap part which is placed, surrounding the function element, on the base part in such a way that the cap part has a side wall that is surrounded with positive complementary engagement by a side wall of the base part. This prevents access to the function element and to the fastening of the base part. The cap part is secured to the base part by connections that are secured against access.

  • Patent number: 5924401
Abstract: A security device in which a cap-shaped element is mounted covering essential functional and/or adjusting elements of a fuel delivery device. The cap-shaped element is connected to the parts of the fuel delivery device that it encloses in such a way that gaining access to the parts or to removing the cap-shaped element is only possible through destructive means and that when a particular destructive force is exceeded, a fracture occurs at a rated break point by means of which a functional or adjusting element or the defining wall that carries this element is fractured in relation to a fuel-carrying space of the fuel delivery device.

  • Patent number: 5188076
Abstract: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines having a fuel injection quantity adjusting device, in which by the imposition of a stepping motor and by varying a spring assembly at the adjusting device, not only can the starting and full-load injection quantities be controlled but the idling injection quantity can also be regulated as a function of engine operating parameters.

  • Patent number: 5150688
Abstract: A magnet valve that serves to block off a fuel intake line to control fuel flow to supply a pump work chamber of a fuel injection pump with fuel, a closing element has a bore entering at the face end, which bore can be closed by a valve member under the influence of a closing spring. When pressure surges occur in one part of the intake line which is closed by the closing element and leading to the pump work chamber, instead of the closing element and the entire cross section of the intake line portion being opened, only the cross section of the bore is opened. Once it has been pushed open, this bore is rapidly closed again by the low-mass valve member, so that only small quantities of fuel can flow via the bore for pressure equalization.
