  • Patent number: 10343214
Abstract: A method of binder jet printing a part includes depositing a layer of a powder on a working surface and selectively printing a binder solution comprising a binder into the layer of powder in a first pattern to generate a printed layer. The pattern is representative of a structure of a layer of the part. The method also includes selectively printing a channel support agent solution comprising a channel support agent into the layer of powder to generate a green body. The channel support agent is selectively printed in a second pattern representative of an internal channel of the part. The method further includes heating the green body part above a first temperature to remove the binder and generate a brown body part and heating the brown body part above a second temperature to sinter the powder to generate the part having the internal channel generated from removal of the channel support agent.

  • Publication number: 20150280996
Abstract: Example implementations relate to cloud topology visualizations. In example implementations, node models may be received from a plurality of model repositories. The received node models may correspond to nodes in the same cloud topology. Each of the plurality of model repositories may be associated with a respective model-specific format and a respective cloud provider. Each of the received node models may be in a model-specific format associated with the respective model repository from which the node model was received. The respective model-specific format of each received node model may be translated into a generic format. The generic-format node models may be sent to a topology visualizer. The topology visualizer may generate, based on the generic-format node models, a visualization of the cloud topology.

  • Patent number: 7392149
Abstract: A computer implemented method of automatic software testing. Status information of a software test running on a test system is stored to a common information point. The common information point is typically on a computer system independent from a computer system running the software test. An operating system on the test system is reinitialized. The operating system may be changed. The common information point is queried to determine the status information and the software test is resumed. The testing may be resumed at a point immediately after a last completed test operation.

  • Publication number: 20060168108
Abstract: Methods and systems for defragmenting subnet space within an adaptive infrastructure are disclosed. A method includes defining parameters of a netmask that is used to determine if subnets are joinable, identifying subnets to include in a list of available subnets that identifies subnets that are available to be allocated to resources that are a part of an adaptive infrastructure, comparing each subnet in the list of available subnets with every other subnet in the list of available subnets to determine if each subnet in the list of available subnets is joinable with any other subnet in the list of available subnets. The method further includes deleting a subnet from the list of available subnets if the subnet is determined to be joinable with another subnet in the list of available subnets and replacing deleted individual subnets that are joinable together with supernets of the deleted individual subnets that are joinable together.

  • Patent number: 6966052
Abstract: Top-down testing is a mechanism that, by setting up a central location for the modification of test documentation and test execution, provides for close proximity of the text execution and the description of the test. In particular, by providing assertions which point to the line of end user documentation being tested, as well as the associated test script code, top-down testing enables a tester easily trace back to the origin in the end user documentation reference. In addition, the tester can quickly become productive with little product knowledge or test expertise.

  • Publication number: 20050096864
Abstract: A method and system for managing a testing task are disclosed. A plurality of test cases to run is received. Each test case includes a plurality of requirements for running the respective test case. An identification of a group of available test systems on which to run the test cases is received. For each test case, a list of applicable test systems from the group that satisfy the requirements of the respective test case is determined. Test cases are automatically selected and started to run based on each respective list and the available test systems so that as many test cases as possible are run in parallel. When any test case finishes running and releases a test system to the group of available test systems, an additional test case is automatically selected and started to run if possible based on the respective list and the available test systems.

  • Publication number: 20050028147
Abstract: An emulation and native language interface testing system and method are presented. In one embodiment, an emulation and native language interface method tests an emulation and native language interface. As part of the emulation and native language interface method an emulation language virtual machine is initialized. Native language code is wrapped in a simulation test macro which creates simulated interfacing problems. Reactions to the simulated interfacing problems are examined when an emulation language application is run.

  • Patent number: 6795855
Abstract: A service control manager (SCM) module may, through a light weight centraized authorization process, assign certain tools to a role so that a non-root user with such role may run the authorized commands specified in the tools as a root user. The usage of these commands is tracked and logged, typically by a log manager who observes each of the commands that are run within the role. If the non-root user tries to run a command that is not assigned to the role, the log manager may block that attempt. Therefore the lightweight authorization may be achieved without compromising security. The user may also be given a finer granularity of running specific commands and options. In addition, the non-root user with the role may only need to be authorized on one node (machine) to be able to perform the commands on multiple nodes.
